Snoop Dogg has announced that not only is he not going to be considered a hip-hop artist, but he has also changed his name to Snoop Lion! Snoop, apparently fed up with the state of hip-hop today, has decided to release a reggae album and become a reggae star. On top of that he claims he was "born again" and is now "Bob Marley" reincarnated. His new album title..."Reincarneted."

All of this began with a trip to Jamaica and a visit to a temple where he was renamed Snoop Lion and given the Ethiopian name Berhane, meaning "light of the world." He also is now embracing Rastafarianism and claims he's always felt he was a Rasta.

Let's seen how long this one lasts. We all recall when he gave up smoking weed.
