Aretha Franklin Recuperating Well

In an interview with Jet magazine, the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, indicated that her surgery was highly successful and that she is resting comfortably at home. While she didn't indicate what the surgery was for, she did state she is being well taken care of by family and friends. She also stated that while she is unable to return to performing at this time she is looking to catch some plays in Detroit before they leave in the coming new year.
