Knicks Win In Melo's Debut

In his debut as a Knick, Carmelo Anthony received a welcome he had never heard. The roar from the crowd when he entered the Garden said it all...NY is glad he is there! While skeptics still say the pairing of Melo and A'mare Stoudemire won't work because they are both shooters, the duo proved they could co-exist and win, at least for now.

However, one of the biggest issues that is not talked about by the two players is star power. A'mare left the Suns because he didn't like being the number 2 guy. His transition to NY made him number 1. With Melo and his appeal to the NY crowd, it's hard to say if that will remain the same. Hopefully all egos can be checked and the two superstars can do what needs to be done to get the Knicks to the playoffs.
