Wyclef Shot In Haiti

Right before the presidential elections in Haiti, superstar, Wyclef Jean, was shot in the hand. It is unclear what the motive for the shooting was and if they were indeed attempting to take his life. The musician and avid supporter of Haiti and its people was in the country to perform in support of Michel Martelly, a fellow musician whom Jean was supporting in the elections. In an interview with the Associated Press he stated he got out of the car to make a phone call and was grazed in the hand by the bullet. He indicated that he looked down and saw blood on his shirt and sneakers. Contrary to prior reports he indicated that the driver and another artist by the name of Fan Fan was with him, not Busta Rhymes.
