NYC Cop Facing 30 Years In Prison For Robbing Drug Dealers!

A NYC police officer is facing at least 30 years in prison for participating in a crew that robbed drug dealers. Emmanuel Tavarez, an 8 year veteran of the NYPD, plead guilty to being a part of a ring that would rob drug dealers of drugs and cash, sell of the drugs and split the profit. Tavarez has indicated that he was a lookout for group and provided them with NYPD raid jackets. He also used his status as an officer to enforce false warrants. He admitted to participating in such activities in Connecticut and Long Island. He was days away from receiving a pension for an injury on duty that would have netted him at least a million dollars over his lifetime.
