Dexter Isaac is serving a life sentence for murder and robbery, amongst other offenses. On the eve of what would have been Tupac's 40th birthday, and after the statute of limitations has expired, Isaac decided to confess to the hit on Pac back in November, 1994 at Quad Studios in Manhattan. This hit is one of the triggers that started the beef between Biggie and Tupac and led to the east coast/west coast rivalry. According to Isaac, the hit was ordered by James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond. He is confessing now because "I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]," Dexter Isaac told AllHipHop.com from prison. "I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac and Biggie's] mothers some closure."
Rosemond is on the run from the Feds who were investigating his illegal drug sales activities.
