For some odd reason Jermaine Jackson found it necessary to reveal that the Jackson family had planned to help Michael Jackson flee the country if he had been found guilty of the child molestation charges he faced in 2005. Jermaine told the London Times that the family had a plane on standby to fly Michael out of the country to Bahrain. Bahrain does not have an extradition treaty with the United States. He continued on to say "If they were going to sit and crucify my brother for something that he didn't do, America deserves us not to come back here." Michael apparently was unaware of the plan, although Jermaine was confident the family would be able to convince him to go.
